Best donuts I have had in a while. Friendly quick walk up window service. Huge variety. Kinda pricey, but everything is these days. At least you get yummy donuts .

I've come here my whole life. Their donuts are fabulous (& not overpriced) & they are always friendly & kind. The ONLY reason I ever get donuts anywhere else is because Marie's doesn't have regular donut holes, just the cake donut kind. Still ♡ them!

Always my first stop when I get back to town. I love the sign language ordering system. Funny sometimes to watch people shout and point at the same time.

Very busy donut shop with a walk-up window. The line moves fast, and the service & donuts are great. I Will definitely come back again!

Lovely place with very nice workers. Apple fritter is 11/10. Nice apple flavor. Not too sweet. Good crunch with the glaze. Glazed donuts were soft and had just the right bite. Would definitely come back here.

My favorite donut spot in Sacramento. It's on Freeport boulevard right between Curtis Park and Land Park neighborhoods. They rotate a few flavors and types throughout the week, but they have your staples always. Everything is outside and there's no seating. You walk up, wait in line and point at what you want from the window. Recommend you have cash if you're getting just a few donuts since they have a $5 minimum for credit cards. Or spoil yourself and friends (or colleagues) with a dozen donuts! Highly recommend if you're craving delicious, sugary, quality donuts!

Had to pop out and show my peoples how good the donuts there are. A local sacramento classic and their service is solid. Honestly can't complain. If you want a fresh local donut then come here, if not head over to your local donut chain.

The donuts are about average, slightly over given their unique white filling and how they present the yeast donut with a sandwich approach. Something different. The white cream runs much like Cool Whip in texture and flavor. I'm not a big fan. Average is good. Below average not so and above is better. The service is nice and the people are friendly. Of course this is a local fave spot and I appreciate the local entrepreneur versus larger corporate or grocery store versions.

We went back to Marie's for the first time since before the Covid shutdown and it was sill great. As I said in my prior review, it's a long-standing, old-fashioned doughnut place which has been around for decades, a wooden building with only ordering at the counter outside. The doughnuts are all excellent. The glazed and chocolate raised doughnuts, creme or custard filled doughnuts, and the old-fashioned doughnuts are among the best we have ever had. Texture and crumb are perfect, with a crispy exterior and an interior which is moist but not too moist, properly dense but not too dense or bready. 5 stars for the doughnuts and glazes. They have a nice fried-dough flavour and the glazes and frosting are excellent in taste and texture as well. I'd prefer it if they did a creme-filled chocolate as well as creme-filled glazed, but they have a good custard-filled chocolate. The custard is good but not outstanding. 4 stars.

Lots of choices and they do carry donuts with nuts (which is wonderful)!!!. I find that some donut shops, the donuts are two heavy and not light and airy like they are here. They just started selling mochi donuts as well and they considerably much cheaper than Mochinut and taste just the same. Not as many flavors for topping for those...yet? Excellent custard, lemon, and berry fillings that aren't too sweet. They have a blueberry donut which is also delicious. The service is quick and friendly and they also seem like they enjoy their jobs, which in turn makes the shopping experience so much better.
